The Board of Visitors Holds 101st Annual Charity Ball at Camelback Inn

The Board of Visitors’ 101st Annual Charity Ball, Arizona’s oldest continuous charitable event, was celebrated April 16 at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of 44 Flower Girls by their fathers under the beautiful night sky. The presentation was followed by dinner and dancing in the ballroom.

“The members of The Board of Visitors are grateful to continue the 108-year-old, time-honored tradition of serving the health-care needs of those most vulnerable in our community,” said Sydney Fox, chairman of The Board of Visitors. “The generosity of those families who have supported our events allows us to fulfill our mission.”

“The 101st Annual Charity Ball began the next century of tradition for our organization’s cherished, signature fundraiser. This beautiful event is treasured by our Flower Girl families and guests who value our commitment to the community,” said Karen Kotalik, Charity Ball chairman.

Since its inception, The Board of Visitors has granted more than $18 million to local nonprofit organizations serving the health-care needs of women, children and the elderly.
