The Big Event

BGCMP Connect group hosts 10th annual fundraiser

The Connect volunteer group for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix hosted its 10th Annual Big Event on May 18 at the Bentley Project’s Warehouse 215. Almost 300 guests attended the evening affair, raising more than $95,000 for the Clubs. Guests enjoyed an evening of live entertainment and food from some of Phoenix’s best local restaurants.

Highlighting the event was an inspiring story from Joshua Robinson, the BGCMP Bob and Renee Parsons Branch Youth of the Year. Robinson is interested in aerospace engineering and hopes to use his experiences and time with the Boys and Girls Clubs to further his education. Following his story, attendees pledged more than $40,000 to support other members like Robinson.
