Evening of Trends
Evening of Trends at the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia drew a capacity crowd to support Trends Charitable Fund. Themed Desert Serenade, the Nov. 1 event included dinner and a live auction, along with showcasing 10 community-minded women as Trendsetters on the runway. The 2019 Trendsetters were Ivy Ciolli, Amanda Garmany, Abby Leadon, Tess Loo, Carrie Martz, Tiffany Quayle, Joan Raskin, Chrissy Sayare, Aimee Smith and Dee Dee Vecchione. In addition, Betty McRae, who spoke eloquently from the podium, was honored as the 2019 Fabulous Phoenician.
The dinner hour opened with a special performance by Esteban and Teresa Joy. Funds from the event benefit the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) and its Center for Rare Childhood Disorders. Susie Muzzy and Vicki Vaughn chaired the evening.
