A Night in Morocco

Colorful caftans and alluring entertainment created a memorable evening for “A Night in Morocco,” Child Crisis Arizona’s annual fundraising gala on Feb. 29 at the JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn Resort. The 500 guests helped raise $600,000 for the agency’s early education, prevention and intervention programs to help end the cycle of child abuse and neglect.

A paddle raise focused on funding safe nights of sleep for children in crisis situations. Enough funding was raised to provide more than 2,000 nights of safe sleep for a child.

Honorary co-chairs Tracy and Louis Basile received the inaugural Legacy of Love Award for more than a decade of service to the agency. The presenting sponsors were Isaac Jewelers and Jiffy Lube.
