59th Annual Heart Ball Kickoff Breakfast
Committee members and guests gathered at the Omni Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Montelucia on Feb. 12to kick off the 59th Annual Heart Ball. The Valencia lawn was the site of a spectacular evening wear fashion show of presented by Neiman Marcus.
Chair Carolyn Jackson has chosen Driven Hearts as the theme for the Nov. 17 event, and parked on the lawn were sleek cars customized with the Driven Hearts campaign logo. By Feb. 12, the campaign was close to reaching the $500,000 mark.
The gourmet breakfast was hosted by the Montelucia in the Valencia Ballroom, and Angelic Grove provided elegant centerpieces of red roses. Jackson announced classic colors for the 2018 ball: black, chrome and red.
In addition to Jackson, this year’s executive committee includes Kristine Thompson, chairman elect; Ingrid Haas and Sylvia Shoen, vice chairmen; Beth McRae, Heart Ball Sweetheart; and Nan and C.A. Howlett, honorary chairs.
