Hearts of Gold Gala Draws More Than 4oo Guests to Omni Scottsdale at Montelucia

More than 400 guests generated in excess of $230,000 at the 2016 Hearts of Gold Gala to support the nonprofit Save the Family. The Feb. 6 event was held at the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia.

The evening included live and silent auctions, dancing and faux casino gaming.

“Every year, this event reinforces for me the incredible generosity and the deep support we receive and have in the community,” says Jacki Taylor, CEO of Save the Family.

Three Hearts of Gold honorees were recognized at the event. Cynthia Dunham, West Mesa CDC, received the leadership award; Ann Merritt, the philanthropic award; and AFC Physical Medicine and Chiropractic, represented by Dr. Kevin Wall, the corporate award.

Ryan O’Meara and Philip Johnson, owners of Palavela Home in Scottsdale, co-chaired the event, which was presented by AFC Physical Medicine & Chiropractic.
