Party of Note: Lush Troon North Cactus Garden Sets Stage for Sold-Out Fundraiser

Phoenix Symphony Board Member Lecia Scaglione and her husband, Tom Scaglione, welcomed 60 guests to their Troon North home March 20 for a Party of Note to benefit The Phoenix Symphony.

Their lush cactus garden boasting an extensive collection of more than 50 varieties of cacti and desert plants was the perfect backdrop for the spring party. Guests enjoyed mountain and city-light views as they sipped cocktails on the patio and visited with Maestro Tito Muñoz as the sun set over the Valley.

Dinner followed a recital by Dian D’Avanzo, assistant concertmaster and first violin; Karen Sinclair, first violin; Mathieu Page-Bouchard, acting associate principal viola; and Michael D’Avanzo, cello.
