Positive Paths Honors East Valley Man, Woman of the Year

Positive Paths honored Michael Pollack, president and founder of Pollack Investments, and Kathy Tilque, CEO of the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce, as the East Valley Man and Woman of the Year at its annual Night of Heroes Gala on March 21. The Night of Heroes Gala at the Hilton Phoenix/Mesa was attended by 300 and raised more than $100,000 to support the Positive paths scholarship and mentoring programs.

Highlights from the evening included a moving acceptance speech from Michael Pollack, who made a $10,000 to the organization. In her acceptance speech, Tilque remarked about the importance of the community coming together around those in need. A final surprise presentation of the Legacy Award was presented to Janice Parker, founder the 23-year executive director of Save the Family.
