Piper Charitable Trust gives $500K to St. Joseph’s

The Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust has granted $500,000 to Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. The donation is designated to St. Joseph’s Foundation to support the costs incurred at the hospital due to the events surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

St. Joseph’s will utilize the funds to maintain the safety and well-being of caregivers on the front lines treating patients affected with the disease as well as to support the researchers, program managers and staff at the hospital doing the critical work to fight the virus.
