Phoenix Theatre Celebrates the Holidays at Wrigley Mansion

Almost 100 guests kicked off the holidays with the Herberger Heist at Wrigley Mansion on Dec. 15, celebrating Valley philanthropists Billie Jo and Judd Herberger and enjoying the stunning view of Phoenix.

The event was hosted by Jamie Hormel and catered by Christopher Gross. Bob Machiz reprised his role from Phoenix Theatre’s October Applause! Gala by donning his Billie Jo Herberger lookalike wig.

Applause! co-chairs Jean Marley and Susie Wesley and vice-chairs Abby Traister and McKenna Wesley passed the torch to Deanna Clarkson Smith and Michelle King Robson to co-chair the 2017 gala.

Phoenix Theatre’s Applause! Gala offers guests a cocktail reception, plated dinner and a one-time-only performance, celebrating the year’s remarkable honorees through their favorite musical theater songs. Proceeds support Phoenix Theatre’s work onstage as well as its education and community outreach programs.
