Love Not Forgotten

The Alzheimer’s Association Desert Southwest Chapter hosted its annual Love Not Forgotten gala March 30 at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch. The evening included silent and live auctions, dinner and dancing. The 300 guests at the event helped raise $150,000 to be used for care and support for individuals impacted by dementia in Arizona and southern Nevada.

During the evening, Tim Ramey, Melissa Temple and Carolyn Carney, who are living with Alzheimer’s, delivered keynote addresses. They spoke about the stigma and misconceptions surrounding the disease and about their journeys. Each was honored after his or her speech.
