Life is a Cabaret

Longtime Arizona Theatre Company supporters Laurie and Rob Glaser received The Georgy Award at Life is a Cabaret, the Company’s annual fundraising gala. The Oct. 19 event was held at the Temple of Music and Art in Tucson.

The 535 guests in attendance raised $375,000. Kay and Walter Oliver encouraged 35 members to give $1,000 each to support the effort to remove the cost for students from Title One schools to attend matinees at no charge. Yve Rojas served as auctioneer, raising $155,000.

Gail Giclas, senior vice president of investments at Raymond James, and community volunteer Trisa Schorr co-chaired the evening.
