Hearts of Gold Gala

Mesa-based Save the Family Foundation of Arizona hosted its annual fundraising party, Hearts of Gold, on Feb. 18 at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn. The event honored Tempe Vice Mayor Robin Arredondo-Savage with the Hearts of Gold Leadership Award, the Association of Benefactors with the Ned Zink Philanthropic Award and Total Transit, the gala’s presenting sponsor, with the Corporate Award.

The 450 guests raised $265,000 for the organization’s programs and services, which impact more than 500 individuals and families annually through housing, case coordination and an array of supportive adult and children’s programs designed to establish and sustain family self-sufficiency.

Longtime supporters and past board members Wanda and Tom Eaton co-chaired the evening.
