Parties of Note: A Contemporary Wonder

The Phoenix Symphony kicked off its 2016-2017 Party of Note Season at the contemporary home of Lea and Lou Werner III on Nov. 17. Hidden in the center of Paradise Valley and surrounded by lush desert trees, the home was the perfect setting for the sold-out event.

Virginia G. Piper Music Director Tito Muñoz mingled with the 40 guests as they enjoyed cocktails and dining. The Phoenix Symphony Brass Quintet led by Associate Principal Trumpet Benny Nguyen played an engaging selection of holiday favorites.

Now in its sixth season, the Parties of Note program offers an opportunity to spend an evening in an intimate setting with Symphony musicians and friends while indulging in a gourmet meal, listening to live orchestral music and sipping wine.
