Shemer Honors Merrill Mahaffey

Evening celebrates successful Arizona artist

Shemer Art Center honored renowned artist Merrill Mahaffey at is annual dinner gala Nov. 16. The event at the Art Center is in its third year and celebrates an Arizona artist who has achieved great success in his or her career, Kennedy-honors style.

Gary Sprague, Arizona’s Singing Cowboy, provided the entertainment. Jim Ballinger interviewed Mahaffey on stage. Ballinger and his wife, Linda, were the evening’s honorary chairs.
