Swirl, Sip & Savor Raises $260K for SARRC’s Think Asperger’s Program
More than 150 guests gathered at the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort and Spa for Swirl, Sip & Savor to raise funds for SARRC’s (Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center) research and programs creating awareness, early diagnosis and solutions for individuals with Asperger’s Syndrome.
The March 4 event raised more than $260,000 in sponsorships and auction proceeds.
The fundraising soiree, chaired by Patty Dion, Lynne Jackson, Mac Perlich, Karen Quinif, Laurie Sandau, Lyndsey Waugh and Jaime Wright, brought in seven premier wineries from Napa Valley to pour their wines during a tasting hour and five-course dinner prepared by some of the Valley chefs from Sanctuary Resort, the Four Seasons Resort, the Phoenician and El Chorro.
Guests enjoyed a wine tasting reception showcasing Amuse Bouche, August West Wine, Boyanci Wines, Darioush, Hanzell Vineyards, Kosta Browne Winery and O’Shaughnessy Estate Winery.
Preceding dinner, a live auction featured unique wine experiences and wine lots, including a one-of-a-kind hand-etched 5L jerobaum with the Cardinals logo and player signatures.
White House Design Studio created the white, silver and black décor for The Sanctuary ballroom.
