Larry Fitzgerald, Valley Restaurants Honor Health-Care Workers

On Wed., April 29, Arizona Cardinals Wide Receiver Larry Fitzgerald teamed up with Ocean 44, Steak 44 and Dominick’s Steakhouse to honor frontline health-care workers and personally deliver meals to several Valley hospitals and homes. Honor Health Scottsdale Shea Medical Center, Banner University Medical Center and Mayo Clinic were among the hospitals. Fitzgerald also stopped at the personal homes of several health-care heroes. They delivered approximately 100 meals, which are a donation on behalf of Jeff and Mike Mastro, who own the family of restaurants.

“We couldn’t be more appreciative of our health-care workers who have been putting their own lives on the line and have worked relentlessly to save and care for the Valley’s patients. We salute you and there is no better person we could think of to personally deliver these meals than our own Larry Fitzgerald,” says Jeff Maestro, co-owner of Steak 44, Ocean 44 and Dominick’s Steakhouse.

Many hospital cafeterias are currently closed.
