School Supply Drive

Each day, more than a dozen new children across Arizona come into foster care, and two to three youth “age out” of the system. These children, along with the families served by Arizona’s Children Association, are among Arizona’s most vulnerable population. They work hard to make ends meet and often face limited financial resources, with no safety net or family support. One unforeseen incident, such as the current public health crisis, can leave these youth and families jobless, facing eviction, without childcare and even hungry. Deciding whether to buy school supplies or food is a no brainer for most.

With support from the community, Arizona’s Children Association has remained open and dedicated to providing these children and young adults with safe families and the means to be successful. However, the cancelation of its annual fundraiser, along with added resources and emergency relief has stretch the organization’s budget. Consequently, the reserve of school supplies and computers has diminished over the last few months. The need has not diminished.

Now, more than ever, youth need computers and other forms of technology to continue online learning in the face of COVID-19. You can make a difference by making an in-kind or monetary gift. Gift cards would also be appreciated. MORE INFO
