‘Mission Possible’ the theme of SARRC’s 18th Annual Community Breakfast

“Mission: Possible” was the theme of this year’s 18th Annual Community Breakfast held by the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center on April 27. More than 1,600 guests attended the event at the Arizona Biltmore Resort, including individuals with autism and their families, business and community supporters and several elected officials.

The program showcased the possibilities for kids, teens and adults with autism, and SARRC’s leaders delivered news about the organization’s innovative research efforts, high quality clinical programs and services, and the future of SARRC.

“Our next 20 years, we will be about making Arizona the national leader for autism identification, services and support,” said Dr. Daniel Openden, SARRC president and CEO. “We will challenge the sobering outcomes reflected in national autism statistics by demonstrating what is possible, right here at home.”

SARRC’s Community Breakfast is the organization’s signature fundraising event, and all proceeds support SARRC’s mission to advance research and provide a lifetime of support for individuals with autism and their families.
