Ignite Hope Candlelight Walk Raises $356K for Phoenix Children’s Hospital

On Dec. 12, more than 2,500 people joined Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation for Ignite Hope candlelight walk to show support for children and their families spending the holidays at Phoenix Children’s Hospital. The fourth annual event was the largest yet and raised more than $356,000 for the hospital.

Children, parents and community members bundled up for the chilly December evening, some in Santa hats, some in “I Ignited Hope” sweatshirts and many in heavy winter coats. All made the evening special for those watching the event from inside the hospital, serving as an inspiration to those facing difficult circumstances during what should be a joyous time of the year.

The walk was sponsored by Albertsons.
