Midwestern University hosts it annual gala under the stars

Midwestern University held its annual gala under the stars Oct. 12 on the Glendale Campus. The evening honors community service and leadership. Kathleen H. Goeppinger, Ph.D., president and CEO of Midwestern University, presented the 2019 COMET (Community Outreach: Motivating Excellence for Tomorrow) Award to PetSmart Charities and the 2019 Shooting Star Award to Reverend James Turner, recently retired pastor of Glendale’s St. Thomas More Parish. Six scholarships were awarded to students representing four Midwestern University colleges for the 2019-2020 academic year. 

The dinner also featured a dinner, live band and silent auction.
