4th Annual Plated & Staged

The fourth annual Plated & Staged … A Herberger Theater Experience fundraiser on March 31 raised funds to benefit Herberger Theater’s Youth Outreach Programs. These include Arizona Young Artists’ Competition, Theater Camp and Wolf Trap. This year, 20 Valley restaurants participated, including Sel, Marcellino Ristorante, Mancuso’s and Tarbell’s.

The evening began at Herberger Theater with a silent auction and entertainment by Suarez & Perrault and Storybook Entertainment. Art from several local artists, spa days, wine tastings and a Porsche driving experience in Los Angeles were among the items on which guests had the opportunity to bid. Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego made an appearance and spoke during the event, announcing April 4 as Billie Jo and Judd Herberger Day in Phoenix.

Dinner followed at 7 p.m. Just before departure, guests learned where they would dine. Participating restaurants hosted a table of eight with a specially prepared three-course meal accompanied by wine.

The evening raised approximately $100,000 for the Youth Outreach Programs at Herberger Theater.
