3rd Biennial Swirl, Sip & Savor
More than 160 guests attended the April 13 Swirl, Sip & Savor event at the Royal Palms Resort & Spa. The third bi-annual occasion supports Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) and raised funds for ThinkAsperger’s, an initiative creating awareness, early diagnosis and solutions for individuals with Asperger’s syndrome and their families. The event raised $375,000-plus for the program.
The evening was presented by title sponsor MJ Insurance and chaired by Laura Bill, Patty Dion, Liz Gerlach, Melissa Kenly, Mac Perlich, Kristi Synek, Lyndsey Waugh and Jaime Wright. Guests enjoyed tastings from California wineries and a five-course dining experience provided by Valley chefs from the Phoenician, Four Seasons Resort, Royal Palms Resort & Spa and Virtù.
In addition, guests participated in a live auction featuring unique wine experiences and wine lots, including a one-of-a-kind, hand-etched St. Jerobaum of Amuse Bouche 2015 signed by Chef Jacques Pepin.
