The bride wore a gown designed by her friend and Project Runway designer Bert Keeter, who worked with Malhia Kent to create and loom the fabric in Neuilly-Sur-Seine, France.

Jon was Brigitte’s mortgage broker for 10 years. After three mortgages and finally meeting in person in 2015, the couple wed in February, one year from the proposal.

For the occasion, a light snow dusted the city of Vancouver as the couple was preparing for the ceremony. The skies cleared for their photos, ceremony and reception. Dotted with baby blue, the colors were grey and white. Guests were greeted at the Vancouver Club with a blueberry garnished champagne reception, and each person parted with a triple berry candle favor.

The wedding was a family-and-friend affair. Caroline Alperin, Jill’s niece, and Cynthia Riley, Rod’s granddaughter, were flower girls. Dr. Eli and Sandy Krigsten, Jill’s parents, walked her down the aisle, and Rod’s sons Peyton and Brooks Riley joined him as he walked down the aisle. Jill’s cousin, the Honorable Samuel Myers, officiated, and for the “something old,” the bride carried in her bouquet the wedding rings of her deceased grandparents Susie and Lou Singer.

The wedding cake was gluten-free, with the flour supplied by the couple’s friend Ina Manaster. The gown was customized by Oscar De la salas and Tamara Crawford to match Jill’s vision of how she wanted it to look.

The couple met at Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, and their first date in Arizona was at Sanctuary Resort’s elements restaurant.

McKenzie and Scott began their relationship as friends at TCU. During junior year, when they traveled with other friends to Phoenix for the Fiesta Bowl, they realized they could be much more than friends. As timing would have it, McKenzie was preparing for a semester abroad. They decided the next best thing to dating would be to correspond while she was away. She sent postcards of her travels, and he wrote letters from Fort Worth. When she returned, they made things official.

Five years later, Scott proposed to McKenzie. They used a postcard theme in their wedding, including postcards instead of a traditional guestbook. The centerpieces reiterated the theme, incorporating postcards dating back to the early 1900s from the mother of the bride’s side of the family.

When Alex and David said they wanted to get married at the family’s ranch in Page Springs, it came as no surprise. Alex had been raised going to a “ranch” with her family since she was a child, whether to a working cattle ranch or to the family’s Page Springs ranch.

The D.A.Ranch in Page Springs is divided into two areas, one a well-known wedding venue – The Lodge– and the second, a Petznick family getaway. The Lodge was not what Alex had in mind. Her vision became a reality and a venue was constructed in front of the old red barn and the ceremony was built in front of a beautiful tree, which became the theme of the wedding. The couple even “branded” the tree as part of their unity ceremony, adding to the very special day with family and friends.

The couple celebrated with two ceremonies to honor both of their cultures. They held a traditional Vietnamese ceremony and reception at Minh’s family’s home on Friday morning. The bridal party and family escorted the bride into the home, where they were welcomed and accepted into the family. Then they prayed to ancestors to ask for health, prosperity and long-lasting love. Their prayers were followed by a wedding feast that included a sacrificial pig.

A traditional American ceremony and reception were held Saturday evening. Two of Megan’s mother’s best friends, a Unitarian minister and a retired judge, officiated.

Holding their wedding in Las Vegas was an easy decision as Tana and Richard both love classic Vegas style and the glamour of the golden days. The couple resides in DC Ranch, Scottsdale, Arizona, where Tana works in fashion merchandising and Richard is an attorney.
