59 Designers, 59 Design Muses

Fifty-nine local designers created the dazzling tables for the eighth annual Independent Woman Luncheon on Jan. 30 to benefit Phoenix Art Museum. The theme for the occasion was Kaleidoscope The Art of Contrast, reflecting New York-based designer Amy Lau’s penchant for using bright hues. Lau, who grew up in Paradise Valley, spoke at the event.

Each designer started with a table topped with a graphic black-and-white tablecloth provided by Kravet. In all there were 60 tables, each unique and colorful, ranging from traditional to contemporary.
