2017 Applause! Gala

Phoenix Theatre event raises more than $430K

Applause! Gala performance

Almost 400 guests attended Phoenix Theatre’s Applause! Gala on Oct. 21 to celebrate the 2017 honorees.

From Producing Artistic Director Michael Barnard’s parody scenes to Herb Box Catering’s inspired dishes, Phoenix Theatre company, staff and their guests dined, laughed and danced well into the evening. One of the evening’s most memorable highlights was when Valley philanthropists Nancy Hanley, Lynne Love and Martha Martin were arrested for being “vertically challenged” in good fun for the Wrigley Mansion Buy-In Party.

Michelle King Robson and Deanna Clarkson Smith co-chaired the evening, which raised more than $430,000 for programming both on the stage and in the community.
