Contemporary Forum is a dynamic volunteer organization whose mission is to support the development of contemporary art at Phoenix Art Museum. Dedicated to promoting interest in and understanding of contemporary art as a support group of the Museum, Contemporary Forum provides its members with lectures, films, artists’ studio tours, private collection tours, opportunities for domestic and international travel.

Contemporary Forum’s two major annual fundraisers are the Going Once! Art Auction in January and Art + Architecture Weekend in April. All proceeds of both events directly benefit the museum’s contemporary art collection, exhibitions and educational initiatives. Contemporary Forum also aids Phoenix-area artists through the annual Arlene and Morton Scult Contemporary Forum Artists Award and the Artists Grants Program, which have awarded more than $270,000 to 188 Arizona artists since the program’s inception.
