‘Out of This World’ at Mesa Arts Center Gala

Guests enjoy onstage dinner in the Ikeda Theater

Mesa Arts Center Foundation hosted its gala, Out of This World, at Mesa Arts Center in the lobby and on the stage of the Ikeda Theater. More than 260 guests attended the Feb. 24 event, which netted in excess of $50,000. The funds will support Mesa Arts Center’s Engagement programs, which provide high-quality arts experiences for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Following a cocktail reception, Cassidy Campana, Mesa Arts Center Foundation chair, welcomed the guests. Emma Jade, anchor and reporter for KPNX 12 News NBC, served as the emcee. Robert’s Catering prepared a buffet dinner as well as an extensive cake buffet. Auctioneer Brett Higgins facilitated the live auction, and the evening included a Raise Your Paddle for the Arts and Mystery Box fundraiser as well.

Neil Baier served as the gala committee chair, and Vern Mathern was the special projects committee chair. The evening’s major sponsor was the Boeing Company.
