Holidays at the Heard

A Southwestern tradition, Holidays at the Heard is a must-see for your family, friends and out-of-town guests, starting Mon., Dec. 26, and continuing through Fri., Dec. 30, 2016.

Heard Museum visitors can experience American Indian music and dance performances including hoop dancing and fancy dancing. Performers include Yellowhouse Dancers, Darren Thompson, Tony Duncan, Derrick Suwaima Davis and Dineteh Singers. Fry bread and fry bread tacos will be available for purchase every day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Music and dance performances are twice daily in the Steele Auditorium 12:30 and 2 p.m.

Artist demonstrations each day of Holidays at the Heard 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the atrium of the “HOME: Native People in the Southwest” exhibit.
