Barrow to Benefit from Sale of Mustang

An exclusive 2015 Ford Petty’s Garage Stage 2 Mustang GT will be auctioned off during the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction, with 100 percent of the hammer price benefiting patient care and research at Barrow Neurological Institute. The car, one of just 43 built, features a V8 Coyote engine, Roush supercharger, 627hp, 6-speed manual transmission, MagnaFlow exhaust, and custom paint and interior selected by NASCAR driver Richard Petty. The dashboard has been signed by Petty.

The car was donated to Barrow Neurological Foundation by Joe Anderson, chairman of Benovia Winery. Anderson’s family has a long-standing relationship with Barrow Neurological Institute and St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. His sister was treated by Barrow founder Dr. John Greene, and his brother received care at Barrow following a severe horseback-riding accident.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit patient care, research and medical education at Barrow.
