32nd Annual Camaraderie Gala Has ‘Old Hollywood’ Theme
More than 300 guests gathered at the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia on March 12 for A New Leaf’s 32nd Annual Camaraderie Gala. They arrived attired in glamorous costumes, glitzy dresses and tailored tuxes in keeping with the evening’s “Old Hollywood” theme. A New Leaf’s La Mesita Family Shelter Kid Paparazzi greeted attendees on the red carpet, snapping their pictures and shaking hands – in between posing for pictures themselves.
Before dinner, guests enjoyed cocktails, a cigar bar and a silent auction, followed by dinner and then a live auction. Auctioneer Bobby D. Ehlert generated bids and cheers for auction packages that included getaway stays to raise funds for A New Leaf’s homeless and domestic violence shelter services.
Mayfann Millies led the event committee and Trey and LeAnn Basha inspired the audience with their personal story of service to support A New Leaf’s La Mesita Family Emergency Shelter. Bruce St. James and Pamela Hughes of KTAR News Radio served as the evening’s emcees.
Bennett Property Management, SRP, Eide Bailly, Lovitt & Touché, Skinner + Company, and Mobile Mini were presenting sponsors.
