VIP Reception for Barry Goldwater Photography Exhibition

More than 500 guests turned out in Scottsdale on Jan. 5 for a VIP reception for Photographs by Barry M. Goldwater: The Arizona Highways Collection. The event, which began outside, celebrated the curated selection of photos by the late U.S. senator that is now on display at Western Spirit: Scottsdale Museum of the West.

Following the al fresco presentation by the Goldwater family and comments from Scottsdale Mayor Jim Lane and other notables, guests then viewed the photography inside the museum. The exhibition, which runs through June 23, was made possible through a collaboration of the Peggy and Barry Goldwater Foundation – founded and directed by Ali Goldwater Ross, the late senator’s granddaughter – and Arizona Highways magazine.
