Scottsdale Fashion Week 2018

SFW announces Nicole Miller, Contessa LA, Trina Turk and Mr. Turk on the runway

Scottsdale Fashion Week, presented by Purely Sedona, returns Feb. 21 through 25 at various luxury venues in Scottsdale.

For the first time, SFW hosts an exclusive pre-opening event at a private residence in Paradise Valley on Wed., Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. The invitation-only event is titled “Art + Fashion,” and features the artwork of artist, Gilda Garza and an exclusive runway show by nationally renowned designer Nicole Miller.

The opening night of SFW showcases looks by Contessa LA with a runway show Thurs., Feb. 22 at Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale. Contessa LA has been featured in fashion magazines including Vanity Fair, L’Officiel, Essence and Prestige International Magazine. The brand’s main focus is to make women feel confident by outfitting them with luxurious fashion pieces that accentuate the beauty of the female figure.

On Fri., Feb. 23, the fashion festivities continue with Splash into Beauty, a daytime poolside beauty exposition featuring local and national beauty brands at W Scottsdale’s WET Pool Deck. Later that evening, guests will be treated to Splash into Swim, a luxury swimwear runway show featuring looks by Trina Turk, Mr. Turk, Salty Mermaid, Montce Swim and W Store, which will present designs by Vitamin A, Luli Fama and TravisMathew.

On Sat. Feb. 24, internationally renowned designers Trina Turk and Mr. Turk will showcase their latest ready-to-wear collections at Mountain Shadows Resort. Trina Turk’s clothing has been worn by many celebrities, including Taylor Swift, Viola Davis and Carrie Underwood.

SFW will come to a close on Sun. Feb. 25, with the Fashion-A-Bowl after-party at Skylanes.
