2018 Xavier Scholarship Fashion Show
The Xavier College Preparatory Mothers’ Guild presented its annual Scholarship Fashion Show on March 11 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa. In honor of the 75th anniversary of the school’s founding, this year’s theme was “Shine.”
Xavier mothers Martha Chung and Michelle Zachar chaired the sold-out event, which drew almost 1,300 guests for the reception, luncheon and spirited fashion show. More than 250 Xavier and Brophy College Preparatory seniors in colorful spring fashions performed choreographed routines on the runway.
Former Xavier parent and current Xavier grandparent Judy Stark was honored with the school’s Founders Award for her dedication to Xavier’s mission to educate young women of faith.
Proceeds from the luncheon will benefit the more than 40 percent of Xavier students who receive financial assistance.
