Ronald McDonald House Charities Hosts McNight to Remember
Ronald McDonald House Charities hosted its annual McNight to Remember Under the Sea Gala on Nov. 11 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa. The record-breaking evening drew 667 attendees and raised $563,350. The funds will ensure families staying at the Valley’s three houses will not be turned away if they can’t afford the $15 nightly fee requested. Both numbers broke previous highs.
Katy Forseth, associate general counsel for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, and Christine Sopa, learning and performing consultant with Nationwide Insurance, co-chaired the event. La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries of Arizona and Nancy Lewis, a former board member and a longtime champion for families and the Ronald McDonald House, received the Heart of the House awards. Marty Manning and Connie Colla emceed the evening.
