Beaux Arts
Four hundred guests attended Scottsdale Artists’ School’s Beaux Arts on Nov. 11 in the outdoor party tent on the school grounds. The annual fundraiser allows guests to view and purchase original artwork in the silent auction, bid on trips and treasures, and participate in a live auction, which included a painting by Curt Walters, the 2017 signature artist. His painting Intrigue of New Snow was one of the highlights of the auction.
A raffle offered guests the opportunity to win a bronze sculpture by Dan Ostermiller, titled “Gift of Spring.”
Arleen Merrill served as chair for the event, and Mary Ann Wilson was the co-chair. The evening raised $150,000, which will go toward programming.
