The Honor Ball

HonorHealth Foundation celebrates 43rd annual gala

HonorHealth Foundation celebrated its 43rd annual Honor Ball on March 2 at the Phoenician. The special evening paid tribute to Steve Wheeler, former chairman of the HonorHealth Board of Directors, for his leadership and commitment to HonorHealth for the past 11 years. Wheeler played an instrumental role in the merger between John C. Lincoln Health Network and Scottsdale Healthcare to form what is now HonorHealth.

More than 600 guests attended the lively party, with proceeds providing support for programs and services at the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center and cancer research at the HonorHealth Research Institute. Both are located on the HonorHealth Shea Medical Center campus.

Amy Slethaug chaired the evening, and Elise Bard served as co-chair. Impulse, West Coast Music of Beverly Hills provided the music for dancing. The beautiful décor was created by White House Design Studio.
