Brenda and Kurt Warner’s Celebrity Game Night

Brenda and Kurt Warner hosted their Celebrity Game Night in a private Scottsdale Airpark hangar Feb. 9. The evening raised more than $300,000 for Treasure House, which will be a home for 26 young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities where they can experience a supportive living environment while participating in their community.

The 400-plus guests at Celebrity Game Night enjoyed sliders and poutine – a Canadian dish of french fries and cheese curds topped with brown gravy – as they played foosball, neon-lit cornhole and air hockey. Canadian Shane Doan, retired Arizona Coyotes hockey player, was the honoree.

During the evening, guests had opportunities to bid on live auction packages that included a ride in the Arizona Cardinals helicopter to Sedona for lunch, a private jet to Las Vegas to enjoy a Coyotes-Knights game, concerts with luxury transportation, golf with Kurt Warner and Zach Johnson and year-long skin and beauty care. Sports collectibles were popular as Doan handed out signed hockey sticks, and Warner threw Hall of Fame footballs to the lucky bidders.

Doan was joined on stage with his former teammates and coach to play “trivial pursuit” with the audience. Warner engaged Doan in conversation about his career, life influencers and retirement. Brenda Warner then joined the men on stage to ask a few lighter questions.
